About the role

Job Description

Were looking for a mid-level Infrastructure Engineer to build, deploy, and operate the systems that support mission-focused software in production.

Youll help improve the path from development to deployment, while ensuring operational environments are reliable, observable, secure, and maintainable. This role offers hands-on ownership across Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD, monitoring, incident response, and system integrations.

The ideal candidate combines strong infrastructure and software engineering skills with the ability to solve problems in secure, operationally constrained environments.

What Youll Do

Build and maintain CI/CD and release pipelines for cloud, on-premises, and deployed environments

Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker

Monitor production systems and lead incident response to maintain high availability

Improve system reliability, observability, and operational processes

Integrate applications and infrastructure with external systems and services

Collaborate with researchers, software engineers, and end users to deliver reliable operational solutions

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field

3+ years of professional experience

Active TS/SCI security clearance

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker

Strong understanding of software deployment lifecycles across cloud and on-premises environments

Software development experience with Java, Rust, TypeScript/React, or similar technologies

Strong software engineering and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Argo CD, or similar CI/CD platforms

Experience with Keycloak or comparable identity and authentication systems

Experience with Grafana, Loki, Alloy, or similar observability tools

Production incident response experience

Experience integrating software with external systems and services
