The organization is a nonprofit operating a 24/7 crisis line serving multiple states, including Arizona, Oklahoma, and Colorado. It addresses urgent mental health and crisis intervention needs through a variety of services such as peer-run warm lines, serious mental illness determinations, mobile team dispatches, crisis transportation, emergency room assessments, child safety rapid responses, follow-up calls, and community support programs. Since 2007, the program has expanded its reach and services to support thousands of individuals and families in crisis.

About the Opportunity:

The SOFTWARE DEVELOPER role supports the development and maintenance of internal desktop and web applications critical to the organization's operational effectiveness. This position collaborates across teams to design, implement, and deliver software solutions that enable various departments to perform their functions efficiently. The role directly impacts the organization's ability to provide timely and reliable crisis-related services.

Responsibilities:

Analyze, design, develop, and maintain web-based software applications.

Maintain web applications, web services, and back-end processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions.

Troubleshoot complex technical application issues by identifying root causes and proposing timely solutions.

Maintain up-to-date development documentation for application support.

Write and debug code.

Gather requirements and estimate work efforts for implementation initiatives.

Define and interact with REST-based APIs.

Participate in code reviews and quality assurance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

3-5 years of relevant software development experience.

Proficiency with .Net, C#, Java, JavaScript, Visual Studio, REST APIs, and JSON.

Preferred experience with Python, JIRA, and frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.

Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

Ability to work professionally and collaboratively.

Commitment to compassion, effort, and ownership in interactions.

Open to continuous learning and self-development.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

Salary range: $75,000 to $100,000 USD
