  • About the Opportunity:

The Finance & Strategy AI Engineer role is responsible for leading the development and maintenance of the Finance team’s data infrastructure and AI systems. This position plays a critical role in enabling strategic decision-making by building and operating secure, scalable applications and AI workflows that integrate financial data from multiple sources into a modern platform. The role ensures reliable financial data systems and drives innovation in forecasting, planning, and reporting processes, directly impacting the effectiveness and accuracy of the Finance & Strategy function.

  • Responsibilities:

Own the data foundation and AI roadmap for Finance & Strategy, designing the future financial data systems and maintaining existing financial planning tools

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and integrations connecting financial systems such as Databricks, NetSuite, Workday, Adaptive, and Salesforce

Develop AI-powered tools and automations for finance processes including forecasting, scenario planning, variance analysis, workforce planning, and reporting

Lead cross-functional coordination across Finance, BizTech, PeopleOps, and Accounting to resolve priorities and drive decisions related to systems

Evaluate and implement emerging technologies in AI, automation, and data infrastructure to improve efficiency and innovation

Establish best practices in data modeling and infrastructure; provide documentation, training, and support to promote adoption across the Finance organization

Implement data governance standards, ensuring data quality, access controls, and measurable impacts on financial cycle times and forecast accuracy

Promote and embody the organization’s cultural principles to support global scaling and collaboration

  • Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience

Minimum 8 years of experience in building and scaling production-grade data pipelines, integrations, and enterprise applications with strong engineering fundamentals

Hands-on experience with large language model applications including prompt engineering and agentic workflows

Proficient in Python for scripting, data manipulation, and API interaction

Experience with SQL databases and data modeling

  • Pay Range and Compensation Package:

The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
