Job Title: Software Support Engineer

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Software Support Engineer, where you will be at the forefront of addressing and resolving software issues in the field. You will have the opportunity to work closely with field operations teams and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions.

Responsibilities

Act as the first responder when software issues occur in the field.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues before escalating to core engineering.

Debug applications, databases, logs, integrations, and networking issues.

Collaborate directly with field operations teams.

Engage in software development projects when support demand is lower.

Contribute bug fixes and build small features similar to a Full Stack Engineer.

Essential Skills

Full Stack development

Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.

Experience with REST APIs.

Strong troubleshooting and debugging mindset.

Comfortable being on-call.

Excellent communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with React, Redux, RxJS.

Familiarity with 3D visualization and CAD.

Knowledge of AWS Lambda, Docker, and CI/CD.

Ability to investigate issues independently.

Enjoyment in digging through logs and debugging systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
