The Software Engineer II - Data Platform role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that support the organization''s data initiatives.   • Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain real-time and historical data pipelines following best practices.

Develop and document libraries and APIs for managing and analyzing vehicle data.

Collaborate on front-end interfaces to visualize data and support fleet operations.

Work with cross-functional teams to address software needs and ensure system compatibility.

Independently determine technical approaches and engage in team discussions on improvements.

Apply testing and optimization techniques for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

Implement and monitor data quality checks to maintain product and business impact awareness.

Pursue professional growth through industry research and technical mastery.

  • Requirements:

B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 2 years of software engineering experience.

Proficient in object-oriented programming (e.g., Python, Rust, Java).

Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Experience with agile development and CI/CD practices.

Preferred: experience with data pipelines, data warehousing, containerization, telemetry, real-time data processing, and distributed systems.

  • Pay Range and Compensation Package:

Salary range: $110,000—$157,000 USD
