The Role

  • Modernize air traffic control systems by enhancing the availability and performance of a critical national infrastructure platform.
  • Support system upgrades, including hardware, software, OS levels, firmware, security, and associated services.
  • Develop and maintain air traffic control software primarily using Ada95/C++ on a UNIX/Linux platform.
  • Leverage scripting languages (KSH/PERL/PYTHON) for automation and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with systems engineering to coordinate solutions and develop new capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of common services utilized by application teams.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Demonstrated software development skills and capabilities.
  • Proficiency in debugging and problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple software languages.
  • 4-8 years of professional experience in a computer science-related role.
  • Strong desire to learn and improve technical capabilities.
