The Role
- Modernize air traffic control systems by enhancing the availability and performance of a critical national infrastructure platform.
- Support system upgrades, including hardware, software, OS levels, firmware, security, and associated services.
- Develop and maintain air traffic control software primarily using Ada95/C++ on a UNIX/Linux platform.
- Leverage scripting languages (KSH/PERL/PYTHON) for automation and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with systems engineering to coordinate solutions and develop new capabilities.
- Contribute to the development of common services utilized by application teams.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Demonstrated software development skills and capabilities.
- Proficiency in debugging and problem-solving.
- Flexibility to work across multiple software languages.
- 4-8 years of professional experience in a computer science-related role.
- Strong desire to learn and improve technical capabilities.
