Action is looking for an Enterprise AI Engineer to help build, evolve, and support production agentic AI applications for a high-visibility enterprise program. You’ll work across Python, TypeScript, APIs, databases, microservices, and AI agents, contributing to new architecture while diagnosing real-world production issues.

This role requires more than coding: You must communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders, navigate organizational complexity, and independently drive ambiguous problems through to resolution.

Responsibilities

Agentic AI Engineering

Build and evolve multi-agent AI applications and architectures

Maintain orchestrators, agents, services, and integrations

Support migration to next-generation agent architectures

Apply structured, AI-assisted development practices

Full-Stack Troubleshooting & Production Support

Rapidly diagnose issues across agents, applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure

Find root causes and independently implement fixes

Debug Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, SQL, Docker, and CI/CD

Independently validate changes before exposing them to business users

Client & Cross-Functional Execution

Translate business feedback into actionable technical problems

Drive solutions across teams and organizational boundaries

Communicate technical issues and outcomes clearly to business stakeholders

Navigate sensitive enterprise communications with professional maturity

Autonomous Delivery

Proactively own problems through to resolution

Navigate ambiguity, changing priorities, and production incidents

Escalate blockers effectively and deliver quickly

Deliver high-quality solutions at a fast-moving enterprise pace

Must Have

Strong Python and full-stack development skills, including TypeScript/JavaScript, APIs, and SQL

Hands-on agentic AI experience with agents, orchestrators, and LLM applications

Fast, self-sufficient troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across the application stack

Professional maturity and communication skills in complex enterprise environments

Experience with LangFuse observability, tracing, and production diagnostics for distributed applications

Compensation Structure

Employment Type: Full-time, compensated as a W2 hourly employee

W2 Hourly Rate: $75-85 / hour based on fit and experience

Benefits: UnitedHealthcare (medical), Guardian (Vision and Dental)

Profit Sharing: Aligned to performance-based revenue outcomes, paid annually
