The Role

  • Design, implement, and operate the control plane for a global telecommunications service utilizing LEO satellites, terminals, gateways, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop the core wireless and networking components for an advanced global telecom service spanning space and terrestrial networks.
  • Architect and deliver a modern, flexible, scalable, high-throughput, low-latency network architecture.
  • Implement RF beam and optical link planning, along with other SDN technologies, to provide best-in-class broadband services.
  • Build highly-available software to drive networking control plane operations on physical and virtual nodes.
  • Define and automate processes for software development, implementation, testing, and maintenance, ensuring operational excellence.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using languages like C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • 3+ years of experience with Object-Oriented Design.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
