The Role
- Design, implement, and operate the control plane for a global telecommunications service utilizing LEO satellites, terminals, gateways, and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop the core wireless and networking components for an advanced global telecom service spanning space and terrestrial networks.
- Architect and deliver a modern, flexible, scalable, high-throughput, low-latency network architecture.
- Implement RF beam and optical link planning, along with other SDN technologies, to provide best-in-class broadband services.
- Build highly-available software to drive networking control plane operations on physical and virtual nodes.
- Define and automate processes for software development, implementation, testing, and maintenance, ensuring operational excellence.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using languages like C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 3+ years of experience with Object-Oriented Design.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
