Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead AI Engineer to join our team in New York City. As the Lead AI Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of AI engineers in the development and implementation of AI solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and design AI solutions that meet their requirements.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of AI engineers in the development and implementation of AI solutions
Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and design AI solutions that meet their requirements
Develop and maintain AI models, algorithms, and software components
Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in AI technologies
Experience building AI applications/agents with frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph)
Ensure the quality and accuracy of AI solutions through rigorous testing and validation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in AI engineering
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
8+ years of experience in building AI products in a professional setting.
Strong understanding of AI concepts, algorithms, and technologies
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
Proficient in Python and SQL/Postgres
Experience with OpenAI/Anthropic models; training models a plus
Exposure to deployments (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques
Experience in leading and managing a team of AI engineers
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
