About the role

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, enhance, and support enterprise web applications and APIs.

Develop and maintain backend services using Python and C#/.NET.

Develop and maintain frontend applications using React, Angular, and TypeScript.

Implement and support secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWTs, and role-based access controls.

Diagnose and resolve issues across frontend, backend, database, identity, integration, and cloud infrastructure layers.

Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, environment promotion, release management, and operational support activities.

Participate in code reviews, Agile delivery processes, technical documentation, and production support activities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable business solutions

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications

7+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Strong experience building enterprise applications using both C#/.NET and Python.

Strong experience developing modern web applications using both React and Angular, including TypeScript.

Strong experience designing, building, and securing REST APIs.

Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT validation, and role-based authorization.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, pull requests, code reviews, and automated deployments.

Experience with relational databases and modern data access patterns.

Experience troubleshooting issues across frontend, backend, integration, identity, and database layers.

Experience with API-driven content platforms, headless architectures, or CMS-integrated applications.

Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Drupal 9/10, including content modeling, Views, permissions, configuration management, and headless integrations.

Experience supporting Drupal-to-application integrations and understanding how CMS changes impact consuming applications.

FastAPI, ASP.NET Core Web API, and Entity Framework Core.

Microsoft Entra ID.

Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, and modern cloud-native application patterns.

AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools such as OpenTofu or Terraform.

API gateway technologies and enterprise integration patterns.

Application monitoring and observability platforms.

Experience in public-sector, government, or other highly regulated environments.

Knowledge of secure development practices, OWASP Top 10, and secrets management.

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is -

$92,040 to $174,840 based on a full-time schedule.

Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

California (All Other):$101,280to$192,360

Colorado: $92,040to$174,840

Massachusetts$92,040to$192,360

New York City: $110,400to$209,880

Washington: $101,280to$192,360

Washington DC:$101,280to$192,360

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
