Hiring: Data Scientist – Telecom Analytics | Texas
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with a strong background in machine learning, data analytics, and telecom/network technologies. This role will focus on developing analytics and machine learning models supporting wireless, security, and network platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem definition through model deployment and monitoring.
Develop machine learning models using regression, classification, clustering, deep learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
Analyze complex datasets and develop meaningful visualizations and insights.
Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
Build and maintain data pipelines to support data quality and accessibility.
Work with engineering, product, and business teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Mentor and guide junior data scientists.
Support cloud-based data and model deployment.
Key Project Areas
Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) analytics and forecasting
Multivariate anomaly detection
Network and security health score models
Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) analytics
Trusted Connection analytics
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data and model enablement
Required Qualifications
Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
6+ years of Data Science experience.
Strong experience with Python, R, or SQL.
Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn or TensorFlow.
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and data visualization.
Basic understanding of telecom networks, including 4G/5G, LAN (Local Area Network), and WAN (Wide Area Network).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Telecom industry experience is preferred.
