We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a collaborative team within a higher education environment. This role offers the opportunity to build and enhance applications that support institutional systems while working in a modern, agile, and mission-driven setting.
Software Engineer Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications
Build and integrate APIs and database-driven systems
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Support system integrations, deployments, and ongoing enhancements
Contribute to DevOps practices, automation, and code quality standards
Software Engineer Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of software engineering experience
Experience with full-stack development (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#)
Strong SQL/database experience of at least five years (Oracle or similar)
Experience and proficiency with Oracle APEX
Experience with APIs, version control, and CI/CD workflows
Experience working in an education environment
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
