Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Strong quantitative & analytical ability, using data and metrics to support decisions and build out business cases
Solid grasp of the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle
Experience developing on Linux, as well as familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Background building products for customer-facing users
5+ years hands-on Java development experience
3+ years shaping system architecture & design (patterns, reliability, scalability) across new and existing systems
Experience architecting workflow automation systems is highly preferred
Experience building front-end infrastructure or distributed systems for commercial online products (preferred)
Experience serving as a tech lead or history of mentoring & coaching junior engineers is preferred
Responsibilities
- The role involves designing and building scalable system architectures and workflow automation systems for customer-facing products.
- The engineer will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and leading technical initiatives.
