Full-Stack Software Engineer IV (.NET/Angular)
Remote- CST/EST Hrs.
5-month contract
Pay Rate: $75.00 - $84.00per hr.
Our client is seeking a Senior/Level 4 Full-Stack Software Engineer IV with strong .NET and Angular experience and hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity, secure coding, and vulnerability remediation. The engineer will work across multiple application teams to identify, remediate, document, and complete security-related development work.
Responsibilities
Perform vulnerability remediation across primarily Angular/.NET customer-facing applications.
Identify and implement security-related code and configuration changes.
Update applications to meet established cybersecurity and coding standards.
Document all changes and remediation work.
Work directly with application teams and participate in daily standups.
Take ownership of assigned mini-projects and drive them through completion.
Transition between teams/applications as remediation projects are completed.
Quickly learn each application's purpose, architecture, and existing technology before making changes.
Follow established development, testing, and deployment processes.
Required / Key Skills
Seven (7) years of experience
Strong .NET software development experience.
Angular — required.
Hands-on experience with vulnerability remediation and/or secure software development.
Experience securing APIs and application code.
Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
Ability to work within CI/CD development environments.
GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Jira experience.
Strong ability to quickly learn unfamiliar applications and technology environments.
Preferred Skills
React experience.
Experience with regulated or highly secure industries.
Banking/financial services experience is preferred but not required.
Experience with origination or servicing platforms.
Familiarity with payment APIs, payment processing, or financial transaction integrations.
Experience with OWASP API Security and CIS Benchmarks.
Vault experience.
AWS exposure.
