Position: Embedded Software Engineer – Avionics Electrical

Job Overview & Key Responsibilities:
- Support aircraft modifications, alterations, troubleshooting, and sustaining engineering activities for aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance embedded software, diagnostic tools, and aircraft data management applications.
- Conduct advanced aircraft troubleshooting and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for system and component failures using aircraft data analysis.
- Create and sustain aircraft configuration management data (CMF) and related engineering deliverables.
- Develop software tools and utility scripts in Linux and MATLAB environments to process and evaluate aircraft telemetry and health data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering groups and suppliers to implement technical solutions and system upgrades.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in embedded software engineering, avionics systems, or aerospace electrical development.
- Strong programming skills in C and C++.
- Demonstrated experience with embedded systems development, Linux environments, and MATLAB.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tool development, aircraft data processing, and RCCA methodology.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN, TFS) and full software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
