Salary: $100,000K - $140,000K yearly

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the planning, design, development, testing, and production support of innovative tools, machines, and accessory products for the HVAC/R industry.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role with significant ownership across new product development, embedded firmware, mobile/desktop applications, testing, and product lifecycle management.

🔧 What You'll Do

Lead engineers in the design and development of tools, machines, and accessory products.

Serve as technical lead on key projects and drive project-level goals, milestones, and deliverables.

Mentor and coach other engineers through complex technical challenges.

Provide technical leadership from initial design concepts through production-ready solutions.

Develop test plans and perform software/product testing.

Provide advanced production-line and engineering support.

Develop product specifications for new product ideas.

Support New Product Development (NPD) activities, including department, new product, and stage-gate reporting.

Transform initial product concepts into working, production-ready documentation.

Maintain and update released production documentation through established change-control processes.

Support team leadership activities including interviewing, onboarding, performance reviews, time approval, and performance management for direct reports.

Train team members on established processes and technical practices.

💻 Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.

8+ years of progressively responsible experience in embedded firmware and mobile/desktop application development and testing.

Understanding of New Product Development (NPD) processes.

Ability to communicate technical information effectively in presentations and collaborative environments.

Knowledge of Lean principles.

Experience with:

UWP

Visual C++

C#

VB.NET

ASP.NET

Ability to develop and test applications for both Android and iPhone/iOS.

Experience across the full software/product lifecycle, from concept through post-launch.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
