are able to optimize theirs. As a Software Engineering Manager you manage your

project goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team. Teams

work all across the company, in areas such as information retrieval, artificial

intelligence, natural language processing, distributed computing, large-scale

system design, networking, security, data compression, user interface design;

the list goes on and is growing every day. Operating with scale and speed, our

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple

teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of

large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

The Looker Experiences team builds the intuitive and powerful data visualization

and dashboarding platform that millions of users rely on to make

business-critical decisions. Our mission is to democratize data exploration. We

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,

experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Provide technical and strategic guidance to a team of skilled engineers,

encouraging innovation and ensuring successful project delivery.

  • Establish and maintain connections with the partner leadership team, serving

as the primary contact for team deliverables. Partner closely with

stakeholders to align priorities, gather requirements, and meet business

objectives.

  • Uphold Google's standards by focusing on reliability, security, and

operational efficiency within large-scale distributed systems.

  • Cultivate an environment that values unique perspectives and empowers every

team member to contribute authentically.
