· Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
· 5+ years of experience developing software for automation, industrial, scientific, or engineering systems.
· Strong programming skills in C#, MATLAB, Python, C++, or similar object-oriented languages.
· Experience integrating software with hardware systems, instrumentation, sensors, machine vision, robotics, or industrial control platforms.
· Knowledge of industrial automation architectures, control systems, and communication protocols.
· Experience with source control, software testing, and modern software engineering practices.
· Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
· Ability to work full-time on-site at St. Louis, Missouri research facilities.
