About the Opportunity:

The SR SOFTWARE ENGINEER FRONTEND role is designed to develop and maintain high-quality, production-level React applications. This position is responsible for creating client-facing user interfaces that integrate with backend services, optimizing web performance, and ensuring accessibility standards are met. The engineer contributes directly to the organization's digital infrastructure, enabling effective service delivery and improving user experience.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain production React applications using modern practices such as hooks and Suspense

Integrate with REST APIs and manage asynchronous loading and error states

Utilize utility-first CSS frameworks and maintain design systems

Implement data visualizations using libraries like Recharts, D3, or Chart.js

Optimize web performance and audit compliance with WCAG accessibility standards

Develop client-facing self-service interfaces that interface with third-party hosted services

Collaborate closely with design teams to align UI components with design requirements

Support production systems after launch, ensuring stability and performance

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years experience in building production React applications with strong TypeScript proficiency

Experience with modern React features and router libraries

Hands-on experience with utility-first CSS and design systems

Production experience with data visualization libraries

Familiarity with web performance optimization and accessibility standards

Experience building client-facing dashboards or document viewers

Knowledge of AWS services including S3, CloudFront, and Lambda

Experience with Vite or similar modern build tooling

Prior experience supporting production systems post-launch

Design experience or close collaboration with designers

Education: High school diploma equivalency with 2 years experience, an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of relevant job experience

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

$96,208.99 to $134,109.89 per year
