Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in GitLab Duo to design, develop, and implement AI-powered solutions across the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, AI-assisted development, and DevOps/CI-CD environments.
GitLab Duo provides AI capabilities across the software development lifecycle, including agentic and AI-assisted development features.
Required Skills
GitLab Duo experience is mandatory
Strong experience in AI/ML and Generative AI
Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI agents
Experience building AI-powered applications and workflows
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Node.js, or similar
Experience with REST APIs and microservices
Strong knowledge of GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
Experience integrating AI capabilities into software development workflows
Knowledge of MCP, RAG, Vector Databases, and Agentic AI is preferred
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and automation
Responsibilities
Design and develop AI-powered solutions using modern Generative AI technologies.
Work extensively with GitLab Duo to improve developer productivity and AI-assisted development workflows.
Build and integrate LLM-based applications, AI agents, and automation solutions.
Develop AI integrations with enterprise applications and APIs.
Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and Product teams.
Implement best practices for AI development, security, scalability, and performance.
Support CI/CD automation and AI-enabled software engineering workflows.
