• About the Opportunity:

The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer role involves designing, building, and maintaining critical web-based software for prominent film studios, TV broadcasters, and cable operators. The position requires working on both new services developed in Go and maintaining existing Java and Spring services. The role contributes to simplifying complex data interfaces and integrating AI tools into development processes, directly impacting the platform''s capabilities and the efficiency of content distribution.

• Responsibilities:

Design and develop new APIs and data processing code in Java or Python

Build front-end features with data-dense interfaces for complex datasets

Create new data models to support increasing data volumes

Develop algorithms for data synchronization across distributed systems

Design and implement ETL processes integrating various data sources

Manage features end to end, including requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support

Utilize AI tooling in development workflows and help establish best practices

Write technical requirements and design documentation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new platforms and tools

Mentor fellow engineers through design and delivery phases

• Requirements:

Bachelor''s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields

Over 5 years of experience in software design and Java development

Proficiency with Spring framework components including Spring Boot, Security, Data, and Data REST

Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Vue or React, including state management and asynchronous data loading

Skilled in SQL data modeling, preferably PostgreSQL, and query optimization at scale

Familiarity with AWS services like S3, Lambda, SNS, and SQS

Experience with Python scripting

Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka, Kinesis, SNS/SQS

Practical experience using AI development tools and building features with LLM APIs

Experience with RESTful web services

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Experience mentoring other engineers

• Pay Range and Compensation Package:

The anticipated annual base salary is $160,000 - $185,000, dependent on factors such as location, skills, experience, and education or certifications
