RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain highly scalable software systems and backend

infrastructure designed to operate on top of Large Language Models for

information retrieval.

  • Design, implement, and continuously iterate on systems to retrieve

high-value, rights-protected content. This includes defining quality signals,

extracting data, and building evaluation models.

  • Partner closely with engineers, product managers, and research teams across

Google (such as NotebookLM, Play Books, Core Data, and Search) to seamlessly

integrate premium knowledge into high-visibility Generative Artificial

Intelligence surfaces.

  • Grow in a changing, rapidly growing environment, taking the initiative to

establish clear technical directions and deliver results from the ground up

for a new organizational effort.

  • Uphold standards for code quality, system reliability, engineering best

practices, and comprehensive technical documentation across the team.
