What you’ll do

Responsibilities

Develop scalable computer systems that manage a large volume of information and use them to fulfill business goals for the company and its partners.

Improve backend scalability and performance by integrating lightweight backend framework, overhauling APIs and optimizing database systems.

Design and build tools that ingest and process signals from various sources to make them more accessible for the company’s partner teams.

Design and implement logging and data visualization system for backend APIs.

Diagnose and resolve software issues reported from production, automated testing, QA testing and customers.

Design and implement scalable and reliable automated testing suites to reduce manual Quality Assurance tasks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and streamlined software development and deployment processes with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.

Who you are

Minimum requirements

Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus six (6) years of software development experience.

Must also have four (4) years of experience in each of the following:

Building software solutions in Java, C++, Python, or Ruby;

Designing, building and maintaining scalable systems;

Translating business needs into software requirements and designs;

Debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack;

Distributed systems; and

Design and implementation of scalable high-performance RESTful microservices.

Salary: $206,086 - $285,600/yr

This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions / sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.

40 hrs/week

50% Telecommuting permitted.
