Role Overview:
We are seeking an Advanced Test Software Development Engineer to architect and implement automated test software frameworks for hardware verification and production testing in Richardson, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop automated test software, scripts, and test benches for embedded hardware and electronic systems.
Design modular, scalable test architectures using C++, Python, C#, or LabVIEW/TestStand.
Interface test software with test instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, RF analyzers).
Analyze automated test data, generate pass/fail yield reports, and diagnose firmware/hardware anomalies.
Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to define test plans and coverage metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
4+ years of test software development experience with automated test equipment (ATE).
Proficiency in Python, C++, or C# and instrument control protocols (GPIB, VISA, Ethernet, USB).
Familiarity with NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, or custom test executive frameworks.
Strong analytical mindset and passion for test automation and continuous integration.
