About the role
Job Description
A growing digital media company is hiring a full stack Software Engineer to help build and improve the digital products used by millions of users. You’ll work on applications and systems that power their content, memberships, and digital experiences, with a strong focus on full stack development, data, and scalable software.
In this role, you’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build new features, improve existing systems, and help shape the technology their growing digital platform. You’ll have the opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle while contributing to projects involving data, marketing technology, and customer-facing products.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with TypeScript and JavaScript
Experience with backend software development and APIs
Experience working with modern web applications and software development practices
Ability to communicate clearly and make practical tradeoffs
Desired Skills & Experience
6+ years of software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on data engineering
Experience with AWS
Experience with Node.js
Degree in a relevant field

Daily Responsibilities
100% Hands On
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services
Build and improve backend systems, APIs, and data-driven applications
Work across the software development lifecycle from technical design through deployment
Develop scalable and maintainable software that supports their digital products
Troubleshoot and improve existing applications, services, and systems
