Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a talented Software Engineer to develop high-performance applications and backend systems supporting advanced sensors and mission systems. Primary Responsibilities:

In this mission we develop training software solutions for our customers in the area of Unmanned Aerial Systems simulation. We use our skills to design and implement new features, fix bugs, perform peer reviews, write tests, analyze new technologies and best practices, and collaborate with other teammates. We develop solutions in C++, .NET, and C#. The team follows Agile software practices, shares a passion for solving complex problems, delivering exceptional software, improving software development processes, and exceeding customer expectations.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of applicable experience.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.

Experience in the following technologies:

Linux

SCM

Databases

Experience in the following concepts:

Code Reviews

Documentation/Writing Skills

DevOps/Continuous Integration Continuous Development

Preferred experience in the following technologies:

Pay Range:

Pay Range $69,550.00 - $125,725.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
