Senior Software Engineer
Pay: $145,000 annually
Location: Hybrid (Richardson, Texas)
Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining innovative SaaS auction applications, with an emphasis on new development and system enhancements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full-stack development, particularly with Node.js and React, and possess the ability to lead complex projects in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with a passionate CTO and a small, highly technical team to make meaningful contributions that directly impact the product and client success.
Requirements
4+ years of professional experience in full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript development
Proven expertise in Node.js, React, Next.js, AWS, and related technologies
Strong understanding of UI, web standards, and cross-browser compatibility
Experience supporting, troubleshooting, and improving client-facing SaaS applications
Ability to create new features, improve processes, and develop configurations for multi-tenant SaaS platforms
Background in high-concurrency web environments and enterprise security best practices
Familiarity with agile methodologies and fast-paced project delivery
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and support of new features and configurations for auction SaaS platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
Enhance existing applications through performance tuning, refactoring, and process improvements
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the application end-to-end
Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and promote best practices
Support production environments and handle incident resolution as needed
Contribute to building scalable, secure, and maintainable codebases in AWS cloud infrastructure
