AI Engineer – AI Innovation Team
Overview
We are seeking an AI Engineer to join a growing AI Innovation team within a large enterprise professional services organization. This individual will help design, develop, implement, and support AI-powered applications, intelligent agents, and automation solutions that enhance productivity, knowledge management, and business operations across the organization.
This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and AI specialists to identify opportunities for leveraging generative AI technologies and translating them into scalable enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and workflows that improve business processes and user productivity
Build and support intelligent assistants, copilots, chatbots, and agent-based solutions utilizing modern AI platforms
Develop Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions that leverage enterprise knowledge repositories and organizational content
Integrate AI solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and other enterprise systems
Develop APIs, connectors, and integrations between AI services and business applications Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify AI use cases
Optimize prompts, agent behavior, and knowledge grounding strategies to improve response quality and user experience
Support AI governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI initiatives
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions
Participate in proof-of-concept projects and pilot programs involving generative AI technologies
Create technical documentation, solution designs, and implementation standards
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed AI solutions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field
Experience developing applications utilizing generative AI technologies
Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI application development
Experience building AI-powered applications, assistants, copilots, or chatbot solutions
Experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar programming languages
Experience integrating applications with APIs and cloud services
Knowledge of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and enterprise knowledge management solutions
Understanding of AI governance, security, and responsible AI principles
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio
Experience with Azure AI Services or Azure OpenAI
Experience with Microsoft Graph API
Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams integrations
Experience with Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, or Power BI
Experience building enterprise AI solutions within highly regulated environments
Experience with vector databases and semantic search technologies
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
Experience supporting enterprise AI adoption initiatives
