About the Role

We are seeking an analytical and impact-driven Data Scientist for a permanent, 100% remote position to lead the development, evaluation, and operationalization of machine learning models and data products. Operating within a high-performance environment, you will translate complex business data into scalable analytical solutions, focusing heavily on pharma and commercial business domains.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in advanced feature engineering architectures, strong validation mechanics, and a clear understanding of algorithmic bias assessment using modern cloud tools.

Key Responsibilities

Predictive Modeling: Build, optimize, and scale advanced regression and classification architectures using machine learning algorithms.

Feature Engineering: Design and implement complex, high-impact feature pipelines at the HCP (Healthcare Professional), product, and market levels.

Collaborative ML Architecture: Develop centralized, highly collaborative analytical products leveraging SageMaker Unified Studio.

Experiment Management: Standardize end-to-end model tracking, lineage, and lifecycle operations utilizing MLflow.

Algorithmic Governance: Perform rigorous statistical validation and drive fair, ethical modeling decisions via SageMaker Clarify bias assessments.

Data Extraction: Write complex, optimized queries to model and manipulate large-scale datasets directly in Snowflake SQL.

Skills & Qualifications

Programming Languages: Advanced proficiency in Python for data science pipelines.

Libraries & Frameworks: Hands-on mastery of pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, and model interpretability with SHAP.

Statistical Competence: Solid foundation in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and exploratory data analysis.

Cloud Infrastructure: Direct experience with the AWS ecosystem, specifically Amazon SageMaker.

Data Warehousing: Strong hands-on querying experience within Snowflake.

Domain Experience: Prior background working within pharma, life sciences, or commercial healthcare data frameworks is highly preferred.
