Schedule: Monday-Friday, Standard Morning Shift
Overview
Epitec is seeking an experienced Software Engineer III to join a high-impact development team focused on designing, building, and maintaining modern software solutions. This role is ideal for a strong full-stack engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering scalable applications that improve the user experience.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications throughout the full software development lifecycle
Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
Create and contribute to software architecture, application design, and system integrations
Develop intuitive front-end user experiences using modern web technologies
Build and maintain back-end services, APIs, and microservices
Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and engineering teams
Implement software testing strategies and quality assurance best practices
Drive continuous improvement through performance optimization and modern development practices
Support CI/CD initiatives and automated deployment processes
Ensure security best practices are incorporated into application development
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance engineering efficiency and solution quality
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
6+ years of overall IT experience
4+ years of software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with:
Java
Angular
MongoDB
BigQuery
Tekton
Experience working with Agile development methodologies
Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Additional experience developing enterprise-scale applications
Experience building and supporting cloud-based solutions
Demonstrated ability to work across multiple technology stacks and teams

- Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
