About the role

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

This role is responsible for developing and driving a consolidated multi-year

roadmap of audio experiences on Pixel devices, built on Pixel’s Ambient Compute

platform, Android, and ecosystem devices. You will synthesize deep Ambient

Compute system knowledge, Pixel power and latency constraints, and ecosystem

device understanding to deliver features across software stacks from embedded to

APK. You will initiate, own, and implement strategies driving quality into the

Pixel audio stack, leading roadmap delivery alongside senior leadership, product

management, and audio research teams while designing scalable architectural

improvements.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software

platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our

first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software,

and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new

technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more

seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills,

experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $262000 - $364000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
