About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, FRONTEND (AUTH EXPERIENCES) will contribute as a full stack engineer focusing on backend, web, and mobile interfaces within trust and safety. This role is responsible for delivering high-availability, low-latency systems that support critical authentication and fraud prevention processes. The position plays a key role in guiding team delivery, collaborating across disciplines, and ensuring operational excellence to maintain secure and reliable customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
Own and deliver quarterly goals for the engineering team
Lead engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems
Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics in product development
Identify and advocate for solutions to project, process, technology, or business issues
Support operations and availability by monitoring metrics and participating in on-call efforts
Establish and promote code review and design standards
Provide feedback and mentorship to develop team talent
Requirements:
4+ years experience developing and architecting web applications using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue
Proficiency with Javascript/Typescript
Experience defining technical plans for significant features or system components with simple, extensible designs
Ability to make impactful changes safely in large code bases
Demonstrated ownership of personal growth through proactive feedback seeking
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: 195,000 - 255,000 USD
USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: 173,000 - 233,000 USD
