Patch My PC is seeking a curious and hands-on **Software Engineer, AI** to join its growing emerging technology team. This role combines software development with AI, endpoint, security, and systems management technologies to build tools and solutions for Windows and commercial management systems.

You will incubate ideas, build prototypes, test hypotheses with customers, and work across engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into production products. ## Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop generative AI solutions across Patch My PC's expanding product portfolio.
• Develop and deploy AI agents for internal tools and customer-facing applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into existing systems.
• Educate, inform, and support product developers with AI integration and maintenance.
• Identify optimal approaches to data processing and data structure for accurate AI analysis.
• Translate requirements into clear engineering deliverables.
• Track project progress and communicate status through stand-ups and stakeholder updates.
• Test, debug, and optimize the performance of AI agent workflows.
• Stay current with research and trends in commercial AI systems.
• Build tools and add-on solutions for Windows and commercial management systems.
• Incubate ideas and develop prototypes that can evolve into production capabilities.
• Work with customers to test hypotheses, understand business requirements, and identify compelling AI use cases.
• Engage with engineering teams as an AI advocate, promoting ideas and helping refine concepts for product development.
• Participate in enterprise systems management communities through webinars, sessions, and written content such as blogs.

## Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, **or equivalent experience**.
• **5+ years of professional software development experience with C\# and the .NET ecosystem.**
• Familiarity with an AI agent framework such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGPT, or MetaGPT.
• Good understanding of large language models (LLMs), including technologies such as GPT, Claude, or Mistral.
• Experience with prompt engineering.
• Experience with AI libraries such as Transformers, OpenAI API, or Hugging Face.
• Experience with generative AI data preprocessing and embeddings.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with MongoDB or a similar NoSQL database.
• Proficiency with Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

## Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of agent memory, planning, and tool-use strategies.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
