About The Role

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internships)

At least 3 years of experience developing Android applications

Proficiency in Kotlin for Android development

Experience with Agile development methodologies

Strong understanding of mobile design principles, UI/UX best practices, and performance optimization

Experience reviewing pull requests and ensuring code quality adherence

Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams

Active learner with a passion for staying updated on emerging mobile technologies and frameworks

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver high-quality Android client code solutions aligned with product strategies and engineering standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, Product Owners, and Quality Engineers to create engaging and effective mobile experiences

Participate actively in all agile ceremonies, ensuring timely delivery of commitments and maintaining high standards of quality

Advocate for the mobile platform within internal and external developer communities, sharing best practices and innovations

Stay current with advancements in mobile development technologies such as Kotlin, Swift, and third-party libraries

Mentor junior to mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence

Engage with developers across disciplines to promote collaboration and shared knowledge

Lead the delivery of major components and platform needs in partnership with senior engineers and architects

Identify technical challenges early and collaborate with the team to develop creative, efficient solutions

Review code contributions to ensure adherence to language idioms and best practices

Contribute to process improvements and share industry best practices across teams
