Principal Software Engineer, International Integrations

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Software Engineer, International Integrations to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.
This role will shape the technical direction for international expansion, with a focus on scalable integrations and AI-enabled development practices. The ideal candidate will partner closely with cross-functional teams to architect solutions that support reliable global growth and improved customer experiences. In addition, this position will mentor engineers, guide technical execution from design through production, and help advance modern software delivery across the organization.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $169,000 – $270,000 annually
Responsibilities
Leverage AI tools to enhance development workflows
Lead cross-functional teams to build scalable technical infrastructure
Architect and maintain AI integration systems
Define and drive technical strategy for international expansion
Mentor developers through collaborative coding and project reviews
Champion best practices in development and deployment
Document designs and solutions while iteratively enhancing customer experiences
Qualifications
10+ years of experience designing and operating scalable distributed systems and SaaS products
Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives from design to production
Strong interest in development practices and LLM integration
Expertise in both high-level system design and detailed code-level execution
Effective communicator with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to varied audiences
