Senior Software Engineer - Investments

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Investments to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will focus on building and scaling the core systems that support investment operations within a fast-moving fintech environment. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-impact solutions that support trading, custody, and broader asset management workflows. The position calls for strong technical judgment, hands-on backend engineering depth, and the ability to shape architecture for complex, business-critical platforms.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $200,700 – $250,900 annually
Responsibilities
Lead high-impact projects across the Investments team
Architect, build, and scale trading and custody systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features
Take ownership of product development and innovation
Work within a supportive team culture focused on effective asset management
Qualifications
5-7+ years of backend software engineering experience
Expertise in broker-dealer trading and custody systems
Strong knowledge of scaling solutions in AWS
Experience leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders from start to finish
Ability to make impactful architectural decisions and articulate their tradeoffs
