About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - CI/CD & Cloud Infrastructure to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will focus on building and optimizing the infrastructure that supports software development, testing, and release processes for complex embedded systems. You will partner closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve automation, scalability, security, and reliability across cloud-based build and validation environments. The work will directly support faster delivery, stronger software quality, and more efficient operations across the organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $129,400 – $260,300 annually

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded software production

Architect and implement cloud platforms for building and testing software

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best automation practices

Ensure the scalability and security of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms

Integrate CI/CD pipelines with test environments for automated software validation

Develop methods for automated provisioning and maintenance of cloud services

Monitor pipeline performance and implement data-driven improvements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

5-7 years of experience in software tools, platform, or infrastructure development with a focus on DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud applications

Expertise in building CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, including containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Proficiency in Python, Bash, and at least one of C, C++, or Java

Understanding of embedded software development tools and workflows

Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD solutions for complex systems
