About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will lead the design and development of scalable software solutions across backend services and frontend user experiences. The engineer will own complex technical decisions, drive architectural direction, and help advance platform capabilities in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment. Strong collaboration with cross-functional partners will be essential to deliver reliable systems and a strong product experience. The position also offers the opportunity to leverage AI-enabled tools to improve development efficiency and user outcomes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $130,000 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

Design and maintain microservices using Go and Angular

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs ensuring robust integration

Build scalable Angular UI applications

Implement testing strategies using Ginkgo, Jest, and Cypress

Own complex technical challenges and architectural decisions

Lead technical initiatives across the platform

Leverage AI tools to enhance development and user experience

Qualifications

5+ years of full-stack software development experience on production systems

Strong proficiency in Go for backend APIs and microservices

Expertise in Angular, preferably Angular 15+, and TypeScript for frontend development

Solid understanding of microservices architecture principles

Experience designing REST APIs and utilizing OpenAPI/Swagger specifications

Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes/Helm for orchestration

Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in distributed systems
