Senior Full-Stack Data Scientist - Growth Algorithms
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Data Scientist - Growth Algorithms to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space.
This role will focus on building and improving data-driven growth systems that enhance customer experiences and support smarter business decisions. You will partner closely with product, design, and engineering to develop client-facing features, design experiments, and translate large-scale data into actionable insights. The position blends machine learning, experimentation, and applied analytics to optimize journeys and measure the impact of new solutions.
You will also help shape next-best-action approaches and apply modern ML techniques, including AI-assisted coding practices, to deliver production-ready outcomes in a collaborative environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $180,000 – $205,000 annually
Responsibilities
Collaborate with LLMs and traditional ML in team efforts
Design and execute experiments to test new features and communicate findings to stakeholders
Optimize client journeys using next-best-action modeling and marketing strategies
Leverage extensive client and merchandise data for impactful decision-making
Work alongside product, design, and engineering teams to develop client products and features
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; Master's or PhD preferred
5+ years of experience in machine learning algorithms, preferably in retail personalization
Proficiency in architecting technical solutions and writing production-grade Python applications
Experience managing and analyzing large-scale datasets with consideration for biases
Knowledge of AI-assisted coding practices and development of product solutions
Experience in designing and interpreting A/B tests and performance metrics
Strong communication skills with a collaborative and ownership mindset
