For our client, we are seeking a Senior Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.
This role sits at the intersection of advanced software engineering, AI-enabled solutions, and customer-facing technical leadership. You will help translate complex business needs into scalable technical approaches for enterprise stakeholders, while prototyping and delivering practical solutions that drive measurable customer value. The position also plays an important role in shaping repeatable delivery patterns, internal efficiency, and technical standards across teams. In this role, you will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and customer-facing stakeholders to influence both solution design and execution.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $148,974 – $201,115 annually
Responsibilities
Architect and rapidly prototype AI agent systems to automate reasoning tasks and support data governance use cases
Engage with enterprise stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps
Build and deploy BI and ML pipelines that support executive-level insights and demonstrate ROI
Partner with deployment strategists to connect technical delivery to customer value
Define repeatable solution patterns to enhance the delivery approach
Act as a force multiplier for Product and Engineering by providing real-world insights
Design and build internal tools to increase the efficiency of the forward deployed engineering team
Qualifications
12+ years of software engineering experience with customer-facing technical leadership experience
Hands-on expertise with LLM orchestration frameworks and vector databases
Proven delivery of large-scale BI and data pipeline solutions with SQL and cloud warehousing
Architectural fluency in distributed systems, data governance, and compliance-grade platforms
Experience shaping delivery methodologies and technical standards across teams
Strong executive presence with high emotional intelligence for building trust with stakeholders
Genuine passion for trusted data and intelligent governance
