About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Data Scientist - Content Growth & Creator Strategy to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will shape data-driven strategy for content growth and creator engagement within a consumer technology environment. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Design to guide feature development, measure impact, and uncover opportunities that improve platform performance. The work will combine experimentation, causal analysis, and product analytics to influence decisions tied to growth, content quality, and long-term strategy. This is a high-impact, technically hands-on position for someone who can translate complex data into clear business recommendations.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $190,000 – $283,000 annually

Responsibilities

Partner with product management, design, and engineering on product development

Design and measure experiments to inform feature decisions

Conduct exploratory data analysis to generate insights for strategic investments

Build metrics and dashboards for efficient decision-making

Contribute to the evolution of data architecture and content quality

Lead initiatives to evaluate feature performance and identify growth opportunities

Engage in company events to strengthen team relationships and culture

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Staff Data Scientist or Tech Lead, preferably in social media or consumer technology

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Statistics or a related field

Proven expertise in non-randomized A/B testing, network testing, and causal inference methods

Experience with end-to-end product analytics and feature launches

Strong collaboration skills with a track record of effective relationships across Product and Engineering teams

Autonomous technical leadership with an ability to influence product direction

Proficient in SQL and Python, familiar with libraries like numpy, pandas, and scikit-learn
