Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Vector Bidding Science
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Vector Bidding Science to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will focus on designing and improving machine learning systems that support bidding performance and marketplace efficiency. You will architect scalable forecasting capabilities, evaluate model performance through experimentation, and help translate complex data into better decision-making. This is a highly cross-functional position with close collaboration across product and engineering teams to drive measurable business impact.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $188,200 – $244,600 annually
Responsibilities
Design and optimize core bidding algorithms and auction mechanisms
Architect scalable bid forecasting capabilities
Analyze marketplace dynamics to drive algorithmic improvements
Conduct offline evaluations and online A/B tests to validate models
Collaborate with product and engineering teams for cross-functional success
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in machine learning and real-world bidding or pricing problems
Strong software engineering background in Python and deep learning frameworks, preferably PyTorch
Expert in metric design and online experimentation frameworks like A/B testing
Proven project leadership with measurable business impact in technical settings
Familiarity with large dataset handling and distributed computing frameworks
