Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Advertiser Growth
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Advertiser Growth to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will focus on building and scaling the machine learning systems that support advertiser growth, spend optimization, and campaign performance. You will partner closely with engineering and data stakeholders to improve budget pacing, experimentation, and billing accuracy across high-throughput backend workflows. The work will also include enabling Generative AI-driven media asset creation within the company's advertising ecosystem.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $210,300 – $273,400 annually
Responsibilities
Design next-generation budget pacing systems to optimize advertiser spend
Lead integration of Generative AI models for creating campaign-specific media assets
Build infrastructure for high-velocity marketplace experimentation and testing
Ensure accuracy of high-throughput billing pipelines processing billions of events
Analyze financial datasets to optimize spend and advertiser performance
Qualifications
Advanced degree in computer science or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience
6+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years on ads delivery systems
Proficiency in building large-scale, low-latency backend systems using Java, Go, or Scala
Experience with budget control systems and spend-prediction algorithms
Expertise in scaling experimentation platforms with knowledge of variance reduction and metric design
Proven track record in mission-critical pipelines with a focus on data precision and fault tolerance
Interest in backend workflows for Generative AI model serving
