Location: Norfolk, VA, US

Travel Required: Up to 10%

Job Description

The Data Scientist will focus on performing ETL/data cleaning, developing interactive visualizations, building predictive models, and supporting the implementation of Artificial Intelligence solutions tied to asset and material maintenance and management data, as well as policy data.

What You Will Do

Perform workstream tasks and report directly to the workstream lead.

Work closely with the workstream lead on day-to-day project execution.

Collect and analyze diverse data to create performance metrics and produce client deliverables.

Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis.

Develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards.

Build predictive and statistical models.

Support the implementation of AI solutions.

Translate data into reports, visualizations, and actionable insights.

What You Will Need

An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Secret Federal or DoD security clearance.

Bachelor's degree.

Three (3) or more years of specialized experience in data analysis.

Experience with Python or R programming.

Experience with at least one visualization tool, such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.

Ability to work onsite 3–4 days per week in the Tidewater area.

Nice to Have

Experience developing data pipelines and scripts using Databricks.

Experience developing in Palantir Foundry.

RPA or general automation experience using UiPath or Microsoft Power Automate.

Experience implementing military or industry business solutions and services.

Experience applying data to develop reports, visualizations, and other deliverables.

Experience with statistical and mathematical modeling, including:

Regression analysis

Simulation

Impact analysis

Geographic analysis

Performance measurement and management

Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

Knowledge of Navy operations and data systems, particularly naval supply and/or maintenance systems.

This position requires an active and maintained Secret security clearance and regular onsite work in the Tidewater area.
