We have been recognized at the United Nations for our SDG leadership in advancing sustainable development. As our technology expands, we are looking for a sharp, builder-minded AI Engineer to help bring intelligence to the systems powering our mission.
Your Mission
You will design, build, and ship the AI that makes our ecosystem smarter, from the search and discovery powering our marketplace to the tools that help millions of people transact, trade, and participate in the global economy.
If you want your work to reach people who have been left out of the systems most of us take for granted, and you would rather build something that matters than optimize ad clicks, this role is designed for you.
What You'll Do
Design and deploy AI and machine learning systems across our products, including search, recommendations, and discovery.
Build and integrate large language model features into our marketplace and streaming app.
Develop tools that improve fraud detection, identity verification, and trust across the network.
Work closely with our product and blockchain teams to turn ideas into shipped features.
Optimize models for performance, cost, and scale across a global user base.
Help shape our AI architecture and the standards we build on as we grow.
Stay close to the frontier and bring the best of what's possible into real products.
What You Bring
3+ years building and deploying AI/ML systems in production, not just prototypes.
Strong command of Python and modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar).
Hands-on experience with large language models, including fine-tuning, RAG, and API integration.
Solid software engineering fundamentals and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
Comfort working across the stack and collaborating with product, design, and blockchain teams.
A bias toward shipping, with the judgment to know when something is good enough and when it isn't.
Experience in fast-paced startup or tech environments is a strong plus.
Bonus: familiarity with blockchain, Web3, or building for emerging markets.
