The Role
Develop and maintain Java-based plugin functionality for modeling tools
Implement SysML model generation capabilities, including Block Definition Diagrams and Activity Diagrams
Build and maintain parsers and data models for structured JSON inputs to drive model generation
Collaborate with AI engineering teams to align plugin behavior with LLM output and improve AI-assisted generation workflows
Diagnose and resolve issues across UI, parsing, API integration, and backend generation logic
Contribute to code quality improvements, validation logic, and testing strategy across a multi-repository codebase
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
3+ years of professional Java development experience
Experience designing and maintaining object-oriented systems in production codebases
Strong proficiency with JSON parsing/serialization and schema-driven data models
Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams
