About the role

Company Description INVOKE Public Sector was established in 2019 as a spin-off from INVOKE Commercial, launching its public sector work through a SBIR Phase I contract with the Department of Defense (DoD). Since then, the organization has focused on delivering training, automation solutions, and ongoing support to the U.S. Air Force and Federal Government. The company successfully navigated the “valley of death” to secure a Phase III SBIR contract, demonstrating its ability to scale and sustain innovation. INVOKE Public Sector has equipped thousands of airmen and government employees with automation tools that optimize daily operations and increase efficiency. Its solutions have expanded across entire functional areas, contributing to significant force multiplication throughout the DoD.

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at INVOKE Public Sector. The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI solutions that support automation, decision-making, and operational efficiency for public sector clients. Daily responsibilities include building and training machine learning and neural network models, implementing pattern recognition algorithms, and working with natural language processing (NLP) techniques to solve real-world problems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate mission needs into technical requirements, integrating AI components into existing software systems, and improving model performance through experimentation and evaluation. The engineer will also document solutions, follow secure and reliable software development practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of INVOKE’s AI capabilities.
