About the Opportunity:

The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER role involves developing and maintaining high-performance REST-based web services, core portal architectures, and system integrations for the Broker and Employer (BnE) Portal. The position contributes to enhancing digital experiences for members, brokers, and employers through scalable APIs and batch processing solutions. This role plays a critical part in innovating and automating workflows using AI tools to optimize platform capabilities and integration efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable REST-based microservices and web API solutions for the Broker and Employer Portal and external system integrations

Develop and deploy AI-powered solutions to solve complex business challenges responsibly

Utilize enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, improve code quality, and enhance software delivery

Support and improve daily batch job processes and enterprise system integrations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications

Evaluate emerging technology trends and AI/ML capabilities to guide solution design and innovation

Provide production support, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis for high-volume portal services

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in software engineering with enterprise RESTful web services and API architectures

3+ years experience in relational database design, batch processing, and backend system integrations

3+ years experience with enterprise portal integrations, web services security, and scalable cloud application development

3+ years experience delivering software using Agile/Scrum methodologies

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment
