Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer to join our development team and build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and database development, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless communication between enterprise applications.

Work with SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server, including query optimization and database design.

Implement business logic using Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and JPA.

Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable code following Java coding standards and best practices.

Perform unit testing using JUnit and Mockito and support integration and functional testing.

Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

Work with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for event-driven applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience in Java development.

Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17/21 and object-oriented programming.

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.

Strong experience developing Microservices and REST APIs.

Good knowledge of SQL, relational databases, Hibernate, and JPA.

Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.

Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

Experience with Git, Maven, and CI/CD tools.

Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.

Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and Test-Driven Development.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
